Tightening torques: Flywheel mounting bolts - 55 Nm.
Removal
Remove:
- manual transmission,
- clutch housing with pressure plate assembly.
Lock the flywheel using (Mot: 582-01) (1).
Loosen the flywheel mounting bolts.
Remove:
- flywheel,
- diagnostic device (Mot. 582-01).
Installation
Check the condition of the flywheel.
Parts that must be replaced: flywheel mounting bolts.
Wipe with surface cleaner:
- the mating surface of the crankshaft on the flywheel in case of reuse,
- crankshaft flange surface under the flywheel,
- flywheel thread.
Install the flywheel.
Apply FRENETANCH to new bolts.
Lock the flywheel with the locking pin (Mot. 58201).

Tighten the flywheel mounting bolts in the specified order to the specified torque (55 Nm).
Install:
- clutch housing,
- manual transmission.
