Attention:
To avoid damage to the brake hose:
- do not stretch the hose;
- do not twist the hose;
- make sure the hose does not touch surrounding components.
Prepare suitable containers to collect the fluid and take measures to protect surrounding components from contact with brake fluid.
Removal the brake caliper bracket
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Unlock the steering column.
3. Set the front wheels of the car to the straight-ahead position.
4. Remove the front wheel from the vehicle.
5. Use a marker to mark the position of the bushing (1) in the base of the shock absorber.

6. Detach the bushing (1) from the shock absorber base.
7. Remove the front brake pads.
8. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the caliper bracket.
Installing the brake caliper bracket
Clean the caliper bracket, brake caliper and wheel hub with a wire brush and brake cleaner.
Note: Apply high strength locking compound to the caliper bracket bolt threads before installation.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: To avoid emergency situations, after installing the brake components, it is necessary to prepare the brakes by pressing the brake pedal several times.
