Warning: Prepare suitable containers to collect fluid and take measures to protect surrounding components from contact with brake fluid.
Removing the rear working brake cylinder
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Remove the rear wheel from the vehicle.
4. Remove the brake drum.
5. Remove the rear brake pads.
6. Loosen the brake line connection (1) from the rear brake cylinder.
7. Install the cap on the brake line coupling.
8. Loosen the bolt (2) rear working brake cylinder from the base plate.
9. To remove the back working brake cylinder.
Installation of the rear working brake cylinder
1. Clean the brake drum and base plate with a vacuum cleaner.
2. Check the condition of the anthers and pistons of the working brake cylinder (If any defects are found, replace the brake cylinder with a new one).
3. Install the rear working brake cylinder.
4. Connect the brake pipeline to the working brake cylinder
5. Tighten the bolt securing the rear working brake cylinder to the base plate to 8 Nm.
6. Tighten the connection of the brake pipeline with the working brake cylinder to 17 Nm.
7. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
8. After installation, bleed the hydraulic circuit of the brake system.
9. Adjust the position of the brake pads by pressing the brake pedal several times.
