Caution: Prepare suitable containers to collect the fluid and take measures to protect surrounding components from contact with brake fluid.
Removal the hydraulic electronic control unit
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Install a spacer on the brake pedal to limit the leakage of brake fluid.
4. Disconnect the connector (1) of the hydraulic electronic control unit.

5. Unscrew the connections (2) of the brake pipes from the hydraulic electronic control unit.

6. Install plugs in the holes of the hydraulic electronic unit and brake turbo lines.
Installation of a hydroelectronic control unit
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Observe the tightening torques of the threaded connections of the brake system components (see table at the beginning of the chapter).
Bleed the hydraulic circuit of the brake system.
Perform a post-repair check using a diagnostic tool.
