Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove the front wheels.
Install a pressurizer on the brake pedal to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
Remove:
- clamping spring from the front of the bracket:
- a bracket that secures the hose to the bracket;
- brake hose with bracket;
- two protective caps for the guide pins:
- two guide pin bolts:
- bracket.
Check the condition of the brake hose and replace if necessary. If the caliper is replaced, the brake hose must be replaced.
Installation
Move the piston inside the cylinder until it stops using the Ege tool. 823.
The installation is in order. reverse withdrawal.
Attention! Before driving. press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons of the wheel cylinders to the working position.
If the bottom of the reservoir of the hydraulic drive of the brakes was not exposed during the operation, bleed the air from one circuit of the brake system, otherwise completely bleed the air from the brake system (see Removal of air from the brake system).
Repair
If there are scratches on the shackle cylinder mirror, the shackle assembly must be replaced.
Remove the protective cap.
Push the piston out of the cylinder by forcing a jet of compressed air through the fluid inlet, so as not to damage the piston on the surface of the bracket when pushing, place a wooden lining under the piston.
If there are impact marks on the piston skirt, then it is unsuitable for further use.
With a flexible plate with a rounded edge (e.g. flat probe) Remove the rectangular O-ring from the cylinder groove.
