Removing
Remove both rear wheels.
Disconnect the parking brake cables from the rear suspension beam.
Remove:
- clamping spring pads;
- two plugs of guide pins;
- two guide pin bolts.
Hang the brake caliper to the body and remove the brake pads.
Installation
Move the piston all the way inside the cylinder by rotating the piston with tool Fre. 1190-01.
Install new brake pads, starting with the inner pad.
Attention! The inner cap is equipped with a clamping spring, which must be inserted into the groove of the wheel cylinder.
Install the bracket onto the guide shoe, starting by attaching the bottom guide pin bolt.
Install guide pins.
Keep a distance of 20 mm between the pipe elbow and the rear brake caliper.
Spring installation
Insert the spring into the bottom of the bracket.
Using a screwdriver, slide the spring onto the top of the caliper.
Connect the parking brake cables. Install wheels.
Attention! Before driving. press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons of the wheel cylinders to the working position.
