Removal


Remove:
  • intake noise muffler;
  • expansion tank;
  • brake fluid level sensor wiring harness;
  • reservoir mounting bolt on the master brake cylinder 1.

Remove the brake fluid from the reservoir and remove the reservoir, wrapping it in a rag.

Remove:
  • wiring block of the pressure sensor from the main brake cylinder;
  • brake lines from the master cylinder, having previously marked them;
  • nuts securing the master cylinder to the vacuum booster.

Installation



Installation


Note: When removing the brake master cylinder, be sure to replace the O-ring A when installing.




Install the master cylinder onto the brake booster so that the pushrod enters the master cylinder.

Install:
  • brake pipes in accordance with the marks made during removal;
  • brake fluid reservoir onto the master cylinder. Press it until it clicks into place;
  • brake fluid reservoir mounting bolt.

Bleed the brake system (see Air removal operation).
