Installing a contact disk
Attention:
- To avoid damage to the contact disc, do not rotate its movable section.
- Incorrect installation of the steering wheel can cause damage to the contact disc.
Note:
- During installation, it is necessary to keep the contact disk immobilized.
- If the contact plate is replaced with a new one, the contact plate supplied as a spare part is already centered and fixed with a sticker that breaks when the steering wheel is turned for the first time (when installing, the front wheels must be set in the straight-ahead position).
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
After installation, you need to unlock the airbag processor.
Turn on the ignition and check the operation of the contact disk by turning the steering wheel left and right from lock to lock. Return the steering wheel to the center position and check that no malfunction warning lights are illuminated on the instrument panel.
