Door contact switches inform the control unit of the door position (open/closed) to control interior lighting, central locking and security alarm.

Removal



1. Open the door and remove the rubber boot from the contact switch on the door.

2. Turn the contact switch so that the B mark faces the trunk (see illustration).

3. Place the switch diagonally and release its first protrusion. Then turn the switch so that the mark B moves downwards and remove the switch.

4. Disconnect the plug.

Installation



The door contact switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.

5. Place the rubber cover on the switch.
