Removal and installation rear side seat belts
Removal the rear side seat belt
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest (as a whole or separately - 1/3 and 2/3).
2. Loosen the lower bolt of the rear side seat belt.
3. Remove the rear shelf (if any) and the rear shelf trim.
Sedan
4. Loosen the upper bolt (2) and remove the rear side seat belt.
Station wagon
5. Loosen the upper bolt (3) and remove the rear side seat belt.
Installing the rear side seat belt
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
- Apply high strength thread locking compound to the threads of the front seat belt bracket bolt.
- Tightening torque of rear seat belt bolt: 21 Nm.
Check that the seat belt is installed correctly by pulling out approximately 300 mm of the seat belt webbing twice, then releasing it and allowing it to retract into the retractor mechanism.
Check the front seat belt locking function by pulling out approximately 200 mm of the belt webbing and giving a sharp tug to try to pull the belt further.
Removal and installation the rear center seat belt
Removal the rear center seat belt, sedan
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest (as a whole or separately - 1/3 and 2/3).
2. Loosen the lower bolt of the rear side seat belt
3. Remove the rear shelf trim
4. Loosen the bolt (1) of the rear central safety inertia reel
5. Remove the rear center seat belt.
Removal the rear center seat belt, sedan
1. Remove the ceiling trim.
2. Loosen the bolt (3) of the central seat belt inertia reel.
3. Remove the rear center seat belt.
Installing the rear center seat belt
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
- Apply high strength thread locking compound to the threads of the front seat belt bracket bolt.
- Tightening torque of rear seat belt bolt: 21 Nm.

- Tightening torque of rear seat belt bracket bolts: 21 Nm.
