Note:
- Airbags must be rendered harmless outdoors in an open area.
- Deactivated airbags must be removed.
- If the airbag is dual chamber (with two connectors) the neutralization operation is performed with each connector.
1. Prepare an adapter that meets the safety requirements to be neutralized.
2. Attach:
- adapter for the device for neutralization (Ele. 1287),
- airbag adapter.
3. Place the airbag on two wooden blocks.
4. Disposal is carried out among old tires placed on top of each other.
5. Make sure that nothing interferes with the deployment of the inflatable chamber.
6. Completely unfold the device's wiring harness to ensure that it is at a sufficient distance from the pyrotechnic element being neutralized.
7. Connect both power wires of the neutralization device (Ele. 1287) to the battery.
Caution: To prevent accidents when disarming a pyrotechnic element, make sure that there is no one in the immediate vicinity.
8. Disarm the airbag by pressing both buttons on the device simultaneously.
