Disposal of a part installed on a scrapped vehicle
1. Remove the vehicle from the premises.
2. Mark the adapter corresponding to the pyrotechnic element being neutralized.
3. Attach:
- device for neutralization (Ele. 1287) to the adapter,
- adapter to the pyrotechnic element.
4. Unwind the entire wire of the device so that when the pretensioner is triggered you are at a sufficient distance from the car (about 10 meters).
5. Connect both power wires of the neutralization device (Ele. 1287) to the battery.
Caution: To prevent accidents when disarming a pyrotechnic element, make sure that there is no one in the immediate vicinity.
6. Disarm the airbag by pressing both buttons on the disarming device simultaneously.
