Removal and installation rear seat belt pretensioners (Renault Laguna 2)

The pretensioner is located on the reel. To remove it, you need to remove the trunk trim and the side panel trim.

Removal

Disconnect the connector and ground wire and remove the mounting bolt.

Installation

Pay attention to the placement and attachment points of the wires.

Tighten the mounting bolt to 21 Nm (M10) or 44 Nm (M12).

After replacing faulty parts and connecting connectors, check with a diagnostic tool. If all characteristics are within normal limits, unlock the ECU.
