Replacing the steering rod protective boot (Renault Logan 1)

You will need side cutters.

1. Remove the steering gear (see "Steering gear replacement").

2. Remove the tie rod end (see "Replacing the outer tie rod end").



3. Use side cutters to cut the clamp securing the protective cover and remove the clamp (when installing, replace the clamp with a new one).



4. Remove the protective cover.

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
