1. Remove the accessory drive belt (see «Replacing accessory drive belts»).
2. Loosen the inlet hose clamp by squeezing its bent ears with pliers, and slide the clamp along the hose.
3. Disconnect the hose from the pump fitting.
4. Turn away a nut of fastening of the pressure head pipeline...
5....and move the pipeline to the side.
Note. The connection of the pipeline to the pump is sealed with a rubber ring, which must be replaced at each disconnection.
Attention! Take measures to prevent leakage of the working fluid from the pipeline and hose, plugging them, for example, with wooden plugs.
6. Turn out a back bolt of fastening of the pump.
7. Turn out a forward bolt of fastening of the pump through a hole in a pulley.
8. Turn a pulley and turn out the second forward fastening bolt.
9. Remove the power steering pump.
10. Install the pump in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the pump mounting bolts and the pressure pipe mounting nut to a torque of 21 Nm (2.1 kgf·m).
11. Remove air from the power steering system (see «Bleeding the power steering system»).
