1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the steering wheel (see "Removing and installing the steering wheel"), having previously set it to a position corresponding to rectilinear movement.
3. Remove the steering column switches assembly with the connector (see "Checking and replacing steering column switches").
4. Remove the ignition switch (lock), see. "Removing and installing the ignition switch (lock)".
5. Under the instrument panel, unscrew the nut and remove the bolt of the terminal connection of the steering shaft and the steering gear shaft.
6. Remove the four mounting bolts...
7. ...and remove the steering column.
8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
