Replacing the steering rod (Renault Logan 1)

You will need a 32 key.

1. Remove the steering gear (see "Steering gear replacement").

2. Remove the steering rod protective cover (see "Replacing the steering rod protective cover").



3. Unscrew the steering rod from the steering rack.

4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal. The tightening torque of the steering rod mounting nut is 34 N·m (3.4 kgf·m).
