Special tool required
- Mot. 453- 01 Hose clamp.
- T. Ag. 1094 Puller.
D7F engine without air conditioning
Removal
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Remove the power steering pump drive belt.
3. Remove the pulley.
4. Install clamp Mot. 453-01 on the supply pipe.
5. Disconnect the supply pipe and the high pressure pipe. Take measures to collect the working fluid (cover the generator).
6. Unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the pump.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Follow the belt tensioning procedure (see chapter "Maintenance").
2. Fill the power steering circuit with working fluid by turning the steering gear from lock to lock.
E7J engine without air conditioning
Removal
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Remove the alternator belt.
3. Remove the power steering pump drive belt.
4. Remove the generator.
5. Install clamp Mot. 453-01 on the supply pipe.
6. Disconnect the supply pipe and high pressure pipe.
Take measures to collect the working fluid.
7. Unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the pump.

Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Follow the belt tensioning procedure (see chapter "Maintenance").
2. Fill the power steering circuit with working fluid by turning the steering gear from lock to lock.
F8Q engine without air conditioning
Removal
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Remove the right wheel.
3. Remove the right mudguard.
4. Remove the bumper (10 mounting bolts).
5. Remove the accessory drive belt.
6. Remove the pulley.
7. Install clamp Mot. 453-01 on the supply pipe.
8. Disconnect the supply pipe and the high-pressure pipe. Take measures to collect the working fluid.
9. Unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the pump.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Follow the belt tensioning procedure (see chapter "Maintenance").
2. Fill the power steering circuit with working fluid by turning the steering gear from lock to lock.
