Removal
- The injector assembly with sprayer is wrapped in the cylinder head.
- Removing the injectors does not require removing the intake manifold.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
- Using a special wrench Mot 1383, disconnect the high pressure pipes.
Note. To avoid damage to the high-pressure pipelines, remove them as an assembly.
- Disconnect the fuel return line
- Remove the injector body using a 27 mm socket 27 mm long or a Renault Mot tool. 997 (pic. 3.12).
- Remove the flameproof washers.

Installation
- Install a new thermal protection liner and O-ring for each injector. Each time the injectors are removed, the leather O-rings and flameproof washers should be replaced with new ones. Installation position of the flameproof washer - with the shoulder towards the cylinder head (pic. 3.13).

- Install the injector bodies using a 27 mm long socket or Renault Mot tool. 997.
- Connect the fuel return line.
- Special key Renault Mot. 1383 screw the high pressure lines to the fuel injectors.
Note. On vehicles with G8T 714 engines, the Renault Mot tool must be used to remove and install the injector body with needle lift sensor. 997 to pass the wire and sensor connector through the hole in the fixture.
