Removal water

  • Loosen the water drain bolt located under the fuel filter.
  • Loosen the air bleed screw and wait until the water and impurities are drained from the filter
  • Tighten the water drain bolt and bleed air from the fuel system.

Removal air

Removing air from the fuel system is necessary in the following cases:
  • disconnecting fuel pipes;
  • air entering the high pressure fuel pump supply system;
  • after the fuel tank has been completely depleted or after replacing the fuel filter element.

  • To remove air, loosen the air bleed bolt located on the filter bracket and run the fuel pump until fuel without air bubbles comes out from under the bolt, then tighten the bolt.
  • Tighten the air bleed bolt
  • Continue pumping fuel until you feel a noticeable resistance.
  • If the engine does not start, repeat the air bleeding operation.
