Brake system drive
Vacuum brake booster
Cars are equipped with a vacuum brake booster with a double diaphragm.
On vehicles with diesel engines, the vacuum for the vacuum brake booster is created by a vacuum pump. mounted on the cylinder head and driven by the camshaft on the flywheel side.

Tandem type brake master cylinder
- Diameter, mm - 23.8
Pressure regulator
- The pressure regulator prevents the rear wheels from locking when braking, regardless of the vehicle's load.
Pressure check
Parking brake
A cable-operated parking brake from a lever installed inside the car acts on the brake mechanisms of the rear wheels.
- Lever travel - 8-10 clicks

Anti-lock braking system
Electronic control unit
The pre-programmed electronic control unit is located on the left front side behind the bumper in a housing mounted on the hydraulic unit. Its role is to... in order to regulate the pressure in the brake mechanisms using electromagnetic valves and prevent wheel locking during heavy braking.

Attention!
- When working on the hydraulic system of vehicles equipped with an anti-lock braking system, first disconnect the electrical connector located on the hydraulic unit.
- The parking brake is adjusted from the underside of the vehicle.
- Removing the rear ABS sensor requires first removing the hub/brake drum and brake shield. The air gap of the ABS sensors is not adjustable, so if the gap value is incorrect, replace the sensor. The brake fluid used in the hydraulic brake system is poisonous, so if it comes into contact with your skin, immediately rinse the area with copious amounts of water. This liquid is also hygroscopic, i.e. absorbs moisture from the air, and therefore liquid stored for a long time in an open container is not recommended.
