Removal
- Remove the brake pads. When removing the caliper, do not disconnect the brake hose from it.
- Remove two bolts (4, Fig. 12.6) fastening the brake mechanism to the steering knuckle.
- Remove the two Torx T30 bolts securing the brake disc to the front wheel hub (Fig. 12.8).
- Remove the brake disc.

Installation
Notes
- Regrinding of brake discs is not permitted.
- If a brake disc needs to be replaced, both must be replaced to ensure uniform braking. When replacing the brake discs, the brake pads must also be replaced.
- Clean the brake disc and hub from any remaining Loctite adhesive/sealant.
- Install the brake disc onto the hub and secure it with two bolts.
- Apply Loctite FRENBLOC to the caliper mount bolts and tighten to the specified torque.
- Press the brake pedal several times to press the brake pads against the brake disc.
