Removal


  • Raise the rear of the car, support it on jack stands and remove the wheel.
  • To prevent brake fluid from leaking out, use a special device to lock the brake pedal in the depressed position.
  • Loosen the brake hose end fitting to the slave cylinder.
  • Remove the brake pads.
  • Disconnect the parking brake cable from the caliper arm and release the parking brake cable housing.
  • Remove the bolt securing the upper guide pin of the caliper bracket.
  • Unscrew the brake hose tip.
  • Check the condition of the brake hose and replace it if necessary. When replacing the brake caliper bracket, you must also replace the brake hose.

Installation


  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
  • Screw in the brake hose
  • Check the condition of the brake pads and if there are traces of oil, replace them.
  • Install the brake pads.
  • Apply Loctite Frenbloc to the threads of the upper and lower guide pin mounting bolts and tighten to the specified torque.
  • Adjust the position of the brake pads by pressing the brake pedal several times.
  • Remove air from the brake system circuit.
