Removal
- Raise the rear of the car, support it on jack stands and remove the wheel.
- To prevent brake fluid from leaking out, use a special device to lock the brake pedal in the depressed position.
- Loosen the brake hose end fitting to the slave cylinder.
- Remove the brake pads.
- Disconnect the parking brake cable from the caliper arm and release the parking brake cable housing.
- Remove the bolt securing the upper guide pin of the caliper bracket.
- Unscrew the brake hose tip.
- Check the condition of the brake hose and replace it if necessary. When replacing the brake caliper bracket, you must also replace the brake hose.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Screw in the brake hose
- Check the condition of the brake pads and if there are traces of oil, replace them.
- Install the brake pads.
- Apply Loctite Frenbloc to the threads of the upper and lower guide pin mounting bolts and tighten to the specified torque.
- Adjust the position of the brake pads by pressing the brake pedal several times.
- Remove air from the brake system circuit.
