Removal

• Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals and remove the battery.
• Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir and disconnect the electrical connector from the brake fluid level sensor.
• Using a syringe, suck out the brake fluid from the reservoir.
• Remove the brake fluid reservoir by pulling it upward.
• Mark the location of the pipes and disconnect them from the master cylinder. Close the pipes and holes in the master cylinder with the appropriate plugs
• Unscrew the two nuts securing the master cylinder to the brake booster and remove it.

Installation

• Before installing the brake master cylinder, check the distance to the pushrod "X", which should be 22.3 mm. If necessary, adjust the protrusion by turning the adjusting bolt (1, Fig. 12.18).

Note: The brake master cylinder is integrated with the brake booster. The tightness of the brake booster is directly dependent on the tightness of the brake master cylinder. The sealing ring must be replaced each time the brake booster or brake master cylinder is removed (13, Fig. 12.17).

• Install the brake master cylinder coaxially with the vacuum booster so that the adjusting bolt (1, Fig. 12.18) the pusher entered the main brake cylinder housing to the required depth.
• Connect the brake pipes to the master cylinder.
• Install the brake fluid reservoir by pressing it down.
• Fill the reservoir with brake fluid.
• Install the cap on the brake fluid reservoir and connect the electrical connector to the brake fluid level sensor.
• Remove air from the hydraulic drive of the brake system.
• Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
