- The vehicles are equipped with a working brake system with diagonal separation of circuits
- Bleeding can be done under pressure using a bleeder or by pressing the brake pedal.
- When bleeding the brake system, use the MS 815 air bleeder.
- On vehicles with a vacuum brake booster, be sure to exclude the influence of the vacuum brake booster when bleeding air from the brake system.
- Bleeding the brake system is carried out using the MS 815 tool with the vehicle on a 4-post lift and on its wheels.
- Connect the tubes of tool MS 815 to the bleeder fittings of the brake working cylinders.
- Connect the tool to a source of compressed air (minimum pressure 5 bar).
- Connect the fluid supply system to the master cylinder reservoir.
- Open the fluid supply system and wait until both sections of the reservoir are filled.
- Open the air valve.
- Remove air in the following order:
- unscrew the bleeder fitting of the brake working cylinder of the right rear wheel and allow the fluid to flow out for approximately 20 s;
- unscrew the bleeder fitting of the brake wheel cylinder of the left front wheel and allow the fluid to flow out for approximately 20 s.
- Ignore any bubbles in the bleeder tubes.
- Repeat the operation for the brake wheel cylinders of the left rear and right front wheels.
- Press the brake pedal several times and check the force required when pressing it.
- If necessary, repeat the air removal operations.
