Note: If a brake disc needs to be replaced, both must be replaced to ensure uniform braking. When replacing the brake discs, the brake pads must also be replaced. Brake discs cannot be reground.
Removal
- Remove the brake pads.
- Using a Torx 30 head wrench, unscrew the two brake disc mounting bolts and remove the disc.
Installation
- Install the brake disc onto the hub and secure it with two bolts
- Install new brake pads.
- Apply Loctite FRENBLOC to the lower guide pin retaining bolt and tighten to the specified torque.
