Operating principle. The electronic engine immobilizer system is activated automatically a few seconds after the ignition is switched off. If the ignition key code is not recognized by the vehicle's electronic immobilizer system, the indicator lamp 1 flashes continuously and starting the engine becomes impossible.
System operation

When the ignition is switched on, the indicator lamp 1 lights up without flashing for approximately three seconds, then goes out. The car has recognized the code. You can start the engine.
Anti-theft protection of the car
A few seconds after the ignition is switched off, the indicator lamp 1 starts to flash continuously. The electronic engine immobilizer system is only activated after the ignition is switched off.
Malfunctions
If after turning on the ignition the signal lamp 1 continues to flash or lights up without flashing, this indicates a malfunction of the system. In case of any malfunctions of the electronic engine start interlock system, you should definitely contact a service station, since only there can a qualified repair of the electronic engine start interlock system be performed. If the coded ignition key is faulty, use the spare key that you received when you purchased the car.
