Filling is carried out through the corresponding hole (fig. 3.134).
To avoid contamination, use a funnel with a 15/100 mesh filter.
Procedure for filling and checking oil level
Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface.
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Disconnect the wire connectors from the ECU.

Unscrew the battery shelf mounting bolts (fig. 3.135).
Remove the battery shelf and ECU bracket.
Move the solenoid valve controlling the pneumatic drive of the boost pressure regulator to the side (if the car is equipped with a turbocharger).

Remove the accelerator cable (fig. 3.136).
Disconnect the cable from the lever on the gearbox:
- squeeze the end of the cable at points A;
- pull the lock in direction B;
- lift the accelerator cable at point C (fig. 3.137).

Fill the automatic transmission with 3.5 liters of fresh oil.
Connect the wires to the battery terminals, starting with the positive terminal.
Start the engine at idle speed.
Connect the diagnostic tool (CLIP).
Enter into dialogue with the automatic transmission ECU.
Monitor the oil temperature in the gearbox.
When the temperature reaches 60°C ±1, unscrew the inspection hole plug.

Install a container, if the oil does not flow out or the amount of leaked oil is less than 0.1 l - stop the engine (fig. 3.138).
Add 0.5 l of oil, let the gearbox cool down to 50°C and start the engine at idle speed.
Reconnect the diagnostic tool (CLIP) and establish dialogue with the automatic transmission control unit.
Monitor the oil temperature parameter in the automatic transmission.
When the temperature reaches 60°C ±1, unscrew the inspection hole plug.
Place a container under the vehicle to collect the oil.
Repeat these operations until more than 0.1 liters of oil has poured into the container.
Screw in the inspection hole plug.
Tighten the inspection hole plug to the specified torque (35 Nm).
Note: When changing the oil, it is necessary to reset the electronic oil life counter (it is built into the ECU).
Record the oil change date by running command: CF074 "Record gearbox oil change date" using the diagnostic tool (CLIP).
Note: In case of repair work on the automatic transmission, the following parts must be replaced:
- - self-locking nuts;
- - sealing gaskets;
- - rubber gaskets;
- - torque converter mounting bolts.
