2. Drain the oil from the engine oil pan (see "Changing engine oil and oil filter").
3. Remove the accessory drive belt (see "Replacing auxiliary drive belts").
4. Remove the timing belt (see "Replacing the timing belt and its tension roller").
5. Remove the oil pan (see "Replacing the oil pan gasket").
6. Remove the crankshaft gear (see "Replacing crankshaft seals").
7. Remove the oil level indicator guide (see "Replacing the oil level indicator guide seal").
8. Remove the six bolts and the front cylinder block cover.
9. Remove the oil pump (see "Removing and installing the oil pump").
10. Remove the chain...
11. ...and the oil pump drive gear.
12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
