2. To remove or install the flywheel, the crankshaft must be blocked. If the oil pan has not yet been installed, a wooden block can be installed between the crankshaft counterweight and the cylinder block, or the flywheel can be blocked with a screwdriver. Bend back the tongue of the lock washer and remove it with pliers. Do not use an Allen key for this.
3. The alternator drive pulley does not use a lock washer (v6 engine). Bolts should always be replaced. Lubricate the threads with "Loctite". There is a guide disc on each side of the drive pulley (see illustration). The tightening torque of the bolts is 65-75 Nm.
