The selected speed limit must match the road conditions. The device must not be used in heavy traffic or in poor road conditions (ice, gravel, wet road, etc.).
It is recommended to use this mode on long and straight sections.
Figure 2.18. Location on the front instrument panel of the regulator (1) and limiter (2) movement speed
The system is switched on by a three-position switch (Figure 2.18), located on the front panel of the cabin. At the same time, the green indicator lamp in the instrument cluster lights up. The system cannot be activated while the vehicle is in first gear.
The desired constant speed value is selected by pressing the switch «+» or «–» on the left side of the steering wheel. When you press the accelerator pedal, the speed can be increased, but when the pedal is released, the speed will automatically return to the set speed.
To turn off the cruise control, depress the brake pedal, clutch pedal, or move the system switch to the neutral position on the instrument panel or steering wheel.
The speed limiter allows the driver to set a speed limit beyond which depressing the fuel pedal will not accelerate the vehicle further. The system is activated by the same switch as the speed controller. The fact that the system is working is indicated by the yellow lamp in the instrument cluster. The system cannot be activated while the vehicle is in first gear. Vehicle speed must be between 30 and 200 km/h.
The desired value of the limited speed is set by the switch «+» or «–» on the steering wheel. The selected speed limit can be exceeded by pressing the accelerator pedal hard at any time (overcoming resistance). When the pedal is released, the speed will be set at the set level.
To turn off the speed limiter, set the switch on the instrument panel or steering wheel to the neutral position.
