Note: Use an 8mm square wrench on the drain plug during the oil checking, draining and filling procedures.

Oil consumption measurement procedure

Note: The operation is performed on a hot engine after turning on the electric fan of the engine cooling system.

Stop the engine.

Wait two minutes for the oil to drain completely into the engine oil pan.

Perform a visual inspection using the dipstick.

Add oil up to the "MAXI" mark.

Apply a little paint to the oil pan filler and drain plugs to make sure they haven't been removed.

Engine oil change

Warm up the engine and check for oil leaks from engine components.

Turn off the engine and wait 10 minutes.

Unscrew the plug from the drain hole and remove the cover.

Drain the oil.

Screw the plug into the drain hole and fill with fresh engine oil.

The amount of oil to fill depends on the oil temperature and the duration of the drain. Use these specifications as a guide only. Use the oil level indicator to accurately determine the amount of oil in the engine.

Warm up the engine and check for oil leaks around the drain plug and oil filter.
