Removal and installation the oil filter (engines K4J, K4M) (Renault Megane 2)

Removal

Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.

Remove the engine oil pan guard.

Install the special tool (Mot. 1329) on the oil filter (Fig. 2.5).

Installation

Lubricate the oil filter gasket with fresh engine oil.

Screw the oil filter on until the gasket touches the engine surface.

Tighten the oil filter by hand 3/4 turn.

Add oil to the required level.

Wipe off any oil stains with a rag.

Install the engine oil pan guard.
