Removing
Release the parking brake.
Place the car on a two post lift.
Attention! When carrying out this operation, it is necessary to secure the vehicle on a lift using a safety belt to prevent the vehicle from being unbalanced.
Remove rear wheels.
Remove brake drums.
Install a pressurizer on the brake pedal to reduce the amount of brake fluid escaping.
Pull out the parking brake cables by sliding the lever with pliers and a screwdriver.

Disconnect the parking brake cables (pic. 4.43).
Remove the wheel speed sensors.
Disconnect the wheel speed sensor wiring from the rear suspension beam.

Turn away fittings of connections of rigid pipelines with brake hoses and disconnect draft of a regulator of brake forces from a beam of a back suspension bracket (pic. 4.44).
Install the hydraulic jack, place the pads and rest the jack against the right spring cup without compressing the spring.
Mark the position of the spring.
Loosen the lower shock absorber mounting bolt using the socket wrench.
Remove the hydraulic jack.

Remove the left spring along with the lower cup (pic. 4.45).
Loosen the rigid pipe fittings on the wheel cylinders.
Remove shields of brake mechanisms.
Repeat the operations on the opposite side.
Attention! If the upper spring cup has become detached from its seat, replace it.
Install the hydraulic jack in the center of the rear suspension beam.

Pull the rear suspension to the hydraulic jack using the safety harness (pic. 4.46).

Loosen the bolts securing the rear suspension brackets (pic. 4.47).
Lower the rear suspension beam using a hydraulic jack.
Installation

Secure the rear suspension beam to the fixture with straps (pic. 4.48 on p. 156).
Position the rear suspension beam under the vehicle.
Position the mounting tabs of the brackets against the centering holes.
Wrap fastening bolts, since the left arm.

Install the brake lines in their sockets (pic. 4.49).
Remove the safety harness and hydraulic jack.
Install the brake shields.
Torque tighten:
- bracket mounting bolts (62 Nm);
- bolts of fastening of boards of brake mechanisms (80 Nm);
- fittings of rigid pipelines on wheel cylinders (14 Nm);
- unions of rigid brake pipelines on hoses (14 N.m).
Install the parking brake cables.
Make sure the parking brake cable stoppers are correctly inserted into their sockets.
Install:
- brake drums;
- spring cups;
- springs in sockets;
- install wires and wheel speed sensors.
Connect the wiring from the parking brake drive and control unit to the equalizer.
Place the hydraulic jack with pad on the spring cup.
Compress the rear suspension.
Install the lower shock absorber bolts.
Attention! The final tightening of the shock absorber mounting bolts is done when the car is on wheels.
Install the rear wheels.
Lower the lift.
Torque tighten:
- brake drum nuts (175 Nm);
- lower shock absorber bolts (105 Nm);
- wheel bolts (105 Nm).
Remove air from the brake system.
