Removal the engine control unit
1. Using a diagnostic tool, perform the procedure for preparing the engine control unit for repair (see the operating instructions supplied with the diagnostic tool).
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Disconnect the engine control unit connectors (1).
4. Unscrew the engine control unit nuts (2).
5. Remove the engine control unit (3).
Installing the engine control unit
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Tightening torque of engine control unit mounting nuts: 8 Nm.
Using the engine control unit, perform the post-repair procedure for the engine control unit (see the operating instructions supplied with the diagnostic tool).
