Removal the air filter unit
1. Remove the battery.
2. Disconnect the air temperature sensor connector (3).
3. Release the clamp (4).
4. Move the air filter outlet duct aside.
5. Remove the air filter intake duct (5).
6. Move the cable support aside.
7. Loosen the bolt (7).
8. Remove the air filter unit.
Installing the air filter unit
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Replacing the air filter
1. Unhook the fasteners (1) of the air filter unit cover.
2. Remove the air filter unit cover (2).
3. Remove the air filter.
4. Clean the air filter housing.
5. Install all components in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: If the air filter is not installed correctly in the housing, unfiltered air may enter the engine, which may cause increased cylinder wear or engine failure.
