Removal the steering column switches
1. Set the front wheels of the vehicle to the straight-ahead position.
2. Block the airbag processor.
3. Turn off the ignition.
4. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Remove the driver's airbag module.
6. Remove the steering wheel (see chapter "Steering").
Caution: To avoid damaging the contact disk, do not rotate its moving part.
7. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers (see section "Removal and installation the instrument panel").
8. Loosen the bolts (1) securing the contact disk.

9. Tap the screwdriver to release the cone and loosen the steering column assembly.
Note:
- Before removing the steering column switch assembly, it is necessary to mark the installation position of the contact disk, securing it from turning with electrical tape.
- During the removal process, the contact disk must be secured against turning.
10. Partially remove the steering column switches and disconnect their connectors.
11. Remove the steering column paddle shifters assembly from the steering column.
Installing steering column switches
Attention:
- To avoid damage to the contact disk, do not rotate its moving part.
- Incorrect installation of the steering wheel may cause damage to the contact disk.
1. Make sure that the front wheels of the vehicle are set in the straight-ahead position.
Note:
- During installation, the contact disk must be secured against rotation.
- If the contact disc is replaced with a new one, the new part is supplied already centered, with a sticker that breaks off at the first turn of the steering wheel (when installing, the front wheels of the car must be in a straight-ahead position).
2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
3. Unlock the airbag processor.
4. Turn on the ignition.
5. Check the functionality of the contact disk:
- turn the steering wheel all the way to the left;
- turn the steering wheel all the way to the right;
- return the steering wheel to the center position;
- make sure that there are no malfunction indicators on the instrument panel.
