Remote control 1 is used to lock and unlock the car doors.

Each single lock remote control kit, including a transmitter and receiver, has an individual code. This code is located in the battery compartment of the remote control.

Remote control 1 is powered by electric batteries, which must be replaced in a timely manner. The need to replace the batteries is indicated by the control lamp 2, which stops lighting when you press the remote control button.

Point the key bit of remote control 1 at the interior rearview mirror and press the remote control with your thumb. When control lamp 2 lights up, it indicates that the transmitter is sending a signal to lock or unlock the doors.

Note: When pressing the button on the remote control, make sure there are no obstacles between the transmitter and receiver (fingers, door pillars, etc.). The presence of an obstacle in the path of the transmitter signal will prevent the normal operation of the single lock.

Remember to write down the key numbers and the remote control code for your vehicle. If lost, spare keys can be obtained from a Renault representative or service station by providing the key numbers and presenting the vehicle documents. If you lose the key number, please note that information on all key numbers is stored in the Renault information database. To make it easier to find the information, please provide the identification number of your vehicle. In some countries, such as the UK, information on key numbers and remote control codes is stored by Renault representatives.

When replacing the remote control, it is necessary to initialize the system (receiver in the car and two remote controls) at the Renault service station.

A maximum of two remote controls can be used for each vehicle.

Constantly monitor the condition of the remote control batteries. The service life of batteries is about two years.
