Z Engine
- To prevent oil from leaking from the hydraulic system, install pliers Mot. 453-01 on the low pressure pipe.
- Disconnect the high pressure line from the pump, this may cause oil to leak out.
- Install a Dir. 803 adapter with metric thread between the tube and the pump.
- Connect the Fre. 1085 pressure gauge to the adapter.

Engine F
- Remove the pressure sensor from the rigid high pressure tube at the pump outlet (Fig. 9.25).
- Connect the adapter Dir. 1204 for pressure measurement and the manometer Fre. 1085.

Engine G
- Install a Dir. 803 adapter with metric thread between the high pressure pipe and the valve in the steering gear housing.
- Connect the Fre. 1085 pressure gauge
All engines
- Remove pliers Mot. 453-01 (z engine).
- Add oil to the required level and start the engine to check the pressure.
- Set the front wheels for straight-ahead driving. Check the pressure generated by the power steering pump, which, regardless of the crankshaft speed, should exceed 5-7 bar.
- When turning the steering wheel to the stop, the maximum pressure should be:
- engine F - 86-93 bar;
- Z engine - 93-100 bar;
- engine G - 93-103 bar.
- When turning the steering wheel from side to side, the pressure deviation should not exceed 5 bar
