Method without pressure switch
Install clip Mot. 453-01 on the low pressure hose of the pump.
Disconnect the high pressure pipe (take measures to collect oil).
Connect pressure gauge Fre. 1085 or Fre. 244-04.
Pressure switch method
At the outlet of the pump, remove the pressure switch from the metal pipeline (high pressure) and connect adapter Dir. 1021 and oil pressure gauge Fre. 1085 or Fre. 244-04.
Take measures to collect the oil. On all types of vehicles Remove clip Mot. 453-01.
To check the pressure, add oil to the pump reservoir to the norm and start the engine.
The wheels are set in the straight ahead position, regardless of the engine speed, the pressure must be between: 5 to 7 bar.
Turn the wheels to one of the extreme positions and hold them in this position. The pressure should be no more than: 86-93 bar for cars with K4M engines and from 96 to 103 bar for cars with F4R, F9Q, L7X engines.
Do not hold the wheels in this position for a long time to prevent a significant increase in oil temperature.
Remove adapter Dir. 803 or Dir. 1024 and pressure gauge by pinching the pump inlet hose with clamp Mot. 453-01 (on vehicles with a V6 engine).
Connect the high pressure pipe or pressure switch (depending on execution) and remove clip Mot. 453-01.
Add oil to the reservoir to the correct level.
