Removal



Place the car on a lift.

Remove:
  • plastic top caps;
  • two bolts securing the power steering reservoir;
  • accessory drive belt;
  • four bolts securing the pulley to the power steering pump.

Install clamps Mot. 453-01 on the hoses to be removed.

Remove:
  • power steering pump feed hose;
  • high pressure hose;
  • three pump mounting bolts;
  • power steering pump.

Note: During this operation, care must be taken to ensure that oil leaking from the power steering circuit does not come into contact with the generator.


Installation



Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the required tightening torques.

Install the accessory drive belt.

Fill the system with fluid and remove air. To do this, turn the steering wheel from one extreme position to the other with the engine running.
