Tie Rod End (4) fixed with a self-locking nut (1) in steering pivot (2). Sealing collar (3) should be regularly checked for cracks.
A hinge is located on both sides between the tie rod and the steering knuckle tie rod arm. The steel ball head is wrapped in self-lubricating plastic and protected by a dust and waterproof cover.
1. Check the steering linkage seals
2. The presence of a gap in the hinge is checked in the inspection hole.
3. Ask an assistant to turn the steering wheel several times to the right and left, and at the same time determine by touch whether there is play in the tie rod joint.
4. Replace the tie rod ends with a damaged sealing collar or with play.
