Tightening torques, Nm
- Intake manifold mounting bolt - 25 ±02
- Exhaust manifold mounting bolt - 25 ±02
- Bolt for fastening the inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold - 20 ±02
Manifolds and throttle body (k7J engine). 1 - Air filter housing, 2 - Throttle body, 3 - Throttle potentiometer, 4 - Intake manifold. 5 - Exhaust manifold.
Removal the intake manifold
Place the car on a lift.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the air filter housing.
Disconnect:
- throttle potentiometer (1);
- idle speed control valve(2);
- throttle control rod (3);
- air temperature sensor (4);
- pressure sensor (5);
- injectors (6);
- fuel pressure regulator (depending on the model) (7);
- fuel supply and return pipeline (depending on the model) (8).

Remove:
- throttle body assembly, which includes the throttle potentiometer and idle speed control valve;
- fuel distribution rail together with injectors and regulator (depending on the model);
- upper intake manifold bolts:
- intake manifold support;
- lower intake manifold bolts (from the bottom of the car).
Installing the intake manifold
Consider replacing manifold and throttle body seals if necessary.
Insert the lower intake manifold bolts at the same time as installing the manifold to facilitate tightening. Then install the support and upper bolts.
Note: Observe the tightening torque of the intake manifold bolts.
Make sure the throttle body is installed correctly.
