- wipe the area around the tube connections. Remember how the tubes are connected to the unit so that they are correctly installed during assembly: the tubes and entries in the unit are color coded (Figure 7.35). Loosen the connection nuts and carefully remove the tubes. Isolate the pipes from dirt entering the system. Wash off spilled liquid immediately;

- working from below the vehicle, disconnect the exhaust pipe, the three bolts of the exhaust manifold heat shield (Figure 7.36) and two lower bolts for fastening the valve body bracket;
- remove the valve body through the wheel arch niche.
Attention! Repair of the valve body is possible only at a specialized station.
Installation
The installation of the valve body is carried out in the reverse order of removal, while doing the following:
- securely tighten the block fastening nuts;
- install the tubes according to the marks made;
- tighten the nuts of the pipe connections to the prescribed torques;
- make sure the wiring is correct and connect the connector;
- before connecting the wire to the battery, bleed the system as described above.
Note. The ECU is built into the valve body, so it cannot be replaced separately.
