Tightening torques, Nm
- Union nuts for tubes M10X100:17; M12X100:17.
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals.
3. Remove the front right wheel.
4. Install a locking device on the brake pedal to limit the amount of fluid leaking out.
5. Remove from above:
- ABS computer connector;
- two ground connection bolts;
- six tubes from the hydraulic block, marking their position for subsequent correct installation.

6. Unscrew the upper bolt securing the hydraulic unit.
7. Remove from below:
- intake pipe;
- exhaust manifold heat shield by unscrewing three bolts;
- two lower bolts securing the hydraulic unit (Fig. 8.28);
- hydraulic unit through the wheel arch niche.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
