Visually inspect all electrical wiring connectors, harnesses, and mounting brackets for secure connections and signs of wear or damage.
1. If the indicator lamp, brake light or headlight does not light, the bulb is probably burnt out and needs to be replaced. Refer to Chapter On-board electrical equipment. If both brake lights are not on, the brake light switch on the brake pedal may need to be repaired. This action is described in Chapter Brake system (refer to the accompanying illustration).
2. If the lamps are faulty, also check the fuses (refer to Chapter On-board electrical equipment). The fuses are located behind the glove box on the driver's side (refer to the accompanying illustration).
3. Install a new fuse of the same rating. It is important to find the reason why the fuse has blown. The checking procedure is described in Chapter On-board electrical equipment (refer to the accompanying illustration).
