2. Place a suitable container below the drain cock.
Note. For better access, unscrew the nuts securing the filter to the body and move the filter assembly to a more convenient position.
3. Loosen the bleed screw on the fuel pump coupling (refer to section Filling and bleeding the fuel system), then open the drain cock by turning it counterclockwise.
4. It is usually sufficient to drain 100 ml to remove all water or other contaminants. Finally, securely tighten the drain cock and bleed screw.
5. Bleed the fuel system as described in Chapter Power systems, release.
