Since most of the components in the car are already controlled by electronic devices, special attention must be paid to the few remaining indicators.
Sit in the driver's seat and take turns checking:
1. Does the watch work?
2. Turn on the ignition. The charge control and oil pressure warning lights should come on; coolant temperature; preheating devices (diesel); ABS (if installed); automatic transmission and parking brake (with lever pulled).
3. With a slight delay, the fuel level needle in the tank should take its place on the scale.
4. On machines equipped with oil level control, the indicator arrow must also be positioned correctly.
5. When the buttons are pressed, the following lights up: light alarm; rear window heating signal; fog light signal and rear fog lights, all lights and all switches work, such as dipped and high beams.
6. When the combination lever is moved, the green direction indicator lamp and, accordingly, the high beam indicator lamp light up.
7. Start the engine, whether the speed indicator is working (tachometer) Did the charging and oil pressure warning lights go out?
8. During a test drive, check the serviceability of the tachometer and coolant temperature sensor.
