Visually inspect all wiring connectors, harnesses, and mounting brackets for secure connections and for signs of fraying or damage.

1. If the indicator lamp, brake light or headlight does not light, the bulb is probably burnt out. Replace it. If both brake lights do not come on, the brake light switch on the brake pedal may be faulty. See Section 9.

2. If several lamps do not light, check the fuses (see Section 12). The fuse box is located under the dashboard on the passenger side. Press the two latches, then lower the lid. The circuits protected by the fuses are marked on the plate at the bottom of the fuse box panel.

3. Additional fuses are located in the engine compartment on the left. To access them, lift the fairing flap, then flip open the cover. The circuits protected by the fuses are marked on the inside of the cover. The car radio fuse is located on the rear of the unit.

4. To replace a blown fuse, remove it with a plastic tool. Insert a new one of the same rating. It is important to find the reason why the fuse burned out. The verification procedure is given in Section 12.
