Removal



1. Disconnect the hose from the booster one-way valve mounted on the front of the unit.

2. Remove the valve from the rubber sealing ring using a twisting motion. Remove the sealing ring from the booster.

Checking the serviceability



1. Inspect the valve for damage and replace it if necessary. Direct a stream of air through the valve. A functioning valve only allows air to pass in one direction - from the booster to the pipeline. Replace the valve if this is not the case.

2. Inspect the rubber sealing ring and flexible vacuum hose for damage and replace as necessary.

Installation



1. Install the sealing ring and reinforcement.

2. Set the one-way valve to the working position, being careful not to displace or damage the sealing ring, then connect the vacuum hose.

3. Finally, start the engine and check the booster for air leaks.
